Tonight it is expected to clear. Increasing cloudiness after midnight then 30 percent chance of showers before morning. Risk of thunderstorms before morning. Low 13.

Marine – Wind light becoming southeast 10 knots early this evening then increasing to southeast 15 near midnight. Wind southeast 15 Friday. A few showers beginning overnight and ending near noon Friday with a risk of thunderstorms. Fog patches. Waves one half metre or less building to one overnight.

News Tidbits – Tonight is the 19th Annual Take Back the Night Event. Everyone is asked to come out and demonstrate their commitment to ending violence against women. Everyone is welcome. The evening begins with a gathering at the Lion’s Beach Pavillion, march down Broadway to St. Marie Street, to Wawa Lake for. celebration and bonfire.
