Marine – Wind northeast 10 knots increasing to northeast 15 this afternoon then diminishing to north 10 Friday morning. Wind backing to northwest 10 near noon Friday. Waves one metre subsiding to one half metre or less early this morning then building to one early this evening. Waves subsiding to one half metre or less Friday morning.

News Tidbits – In the second rate hike this year, the Bank of Canada raised interest rates. For many this will not change, but for variable-rate mortagages, rates will rise; and lines of credit/home equity lines of credit are usually tied to the bank’s prime rate and will also go up.
