Weather – Mainly cloudy today with a  70% chance of showers. High 13. UV index 3 or moderate. Tonight temperatures are expected to drop to 6C.

Marine – Today, tonight and Wednesday. Strong wind warning in effect. Wind northwest 20 knots veering to north 20 near midnight then diminishing to north 10 Wednesday afternoon. Chance of showers today and tonight. Waves one metre subsiding to less than one half metre Wednesday evening.

News Tidbits – The Amazing Race Canada is screening their filming in Sault Ste. Marie from early this spring. The production crew kept it secret by saying they were filming another show. The Sault Ste. Marie episode airs tonight, Tuesday, September 5th at 8 p.m. on CTV. If you happen to be in the Sault today, an Amazing Race Canada Screening Party is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Machine Shop.
