On Tuesday March 21, 2017 at approximately 6:45 am members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East White River Detachment responded to an animal complaint at a White River address. On scene the officers observed the large black German Shepherd dog attack a person then run away. The animal which was believed to be injured and considered dangerous to public has been located by police and no longer poses a threat to the public.

On Tuesday March 21, 2017 at approximately 6:45 am members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East White River Detachment responded to an animal complaint at a White River address. On scene the officers observed the large black German Shepherd dog attack a person then run away.
The animal is believed to be injured and considered dangerous to public. Do not approach this animal.
Investigation is continuing at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
