At 1:50 Wawa-news called the Superior East OPP Detachment – Wawa to confirm the status of the highways. It was confirmed that the following are open at this time:
Highway 101 – Wawa to Chapleau
Highway 519 – Junction of Hwy17/519 to Dubreuilville
Highway 129 – Chapleau to Thessalon
