LAING, Mac

Died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 13, 2009; at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Bennett) Laing. Loving father and best friend of James (Pennie) and Trevor (Tracy). Cherished grandpa (poppa) of Tabitha, Sierra, Mackenzie, Talus, Aiden and Quinn. Loving son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Laing. Dear brother of the late Duncan Laing (Estelle), George Laing (Bernice) and the late Beth Martin (Ab). Mac will be missed by his two dogs Newton and Shrek.

Mac sailed on the H.M.C.S. Kapuskasing during World War II.

Family and friends may call at the Royal Canadian Legion (Wawa) on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion would be greatly appreciated by the family.
