COUTU, Gerald ‘Gerry’

Veteran of WWII and member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 429, Wawa.

At the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Wawa on Friday, November 14, 2003. Gerald, beloved husband of the late Phyllis, loved father of John of Thunder Bay. Loving grandfather of Tamara and great grandfather of Kaylee. Dear brother of the late Vera, Wilfred and Eddie. Gerry is survived by his sisters-in-law Frances Latimer, Enid Coutu, Glory Coutu, brother-in-law Jack Roussain and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters-in-law Elaine Roussain, Thelma Bowman and brother-in-law Bob Latimer.

Friends may call at the Gilmartin Funeral Home, 140 Churchill Ave. Wawa from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2003. A funeral service will be held at the First United Church on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Pollard officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Legionnaires are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 6:45 p.m. Monday evening for a 7:00 p.m. Legion Service.
