Dream of Destinations & Give Back

The Algoma Family Services Foundation is excited to announce the launch of tickets for its annual Time to Travel Draw, a fundraising lottery that offers participants a full year of monthly opportunities to win a $4,000 travel voucher or one of two $150 cash prizes with a single ticket purchase, all while supporting children, youth, and families throughout the Algoma District.

The Time to Travel Draw allows for community members to invest in the future of local youth while helping sustain the vital programs and services delivered by Algoma Family Services (AFS). All proceeds from the draw will go towards supporting local initiatives that enhance youth mental health such as therapy groups, specialized summer camps, and psychological assessments.

For decades, AFS has played a critical role in building stronger communities through counselling services, child and youth programs, addictions services, and family supports. Through the work of the Foundation, donors and community partners have helped expand opportunities for children and youth, ensuring programs remain accessible to those who need them most.

“Algoma Family Services has a long history of helping children, youth, and families overcome challenges and reach their full potential,” said Jessica Olmstead, Foundation Coordinator for the Algoma Family Services Foundation. “The Time to Travel Draw is a great opportunity for our community members to support local youth while also having the chance to win a vacation to a destination that they dream of. Every ticket purchased helps strengthen the programs and resources that make a real difference in people’s lives. We appreciate our loyal TTT Draw following who buy tickets annually and look forward to our new community members joining in on the fun.”

As demand for youth and family services continues to grow, community-driven initiatives like the Time to Travel Draw play an important role in ensuring local programs remain strong and responsive. Residents across Ontario are encouraged to participate and help create a lasting impact close to home.
