News Tidbits:

  • Kilotile’s new album “Moon” is now available to listen on Spotify & Apple Music and other digital music platforms.
  • David Douglas, 73, who went missing on Friday after leaving Oshawa Executive Airport at about 8:30 a.m has been found with his aircraft in Wolf Lake (Queen Elizabeth II Provincial Park). Sad to hear that he was located deceased, but glad that his family will have closure.
  • WSIB is closing 9 branch offices in Northern Ontario (Sudbury – 136, Thunder Bay – 55, Sault Ste. Marie – 20, North Bay – 15, and Timmins – 12) resulting in more than 238 job losses in Northern Ontario and the remainder in Southern Ontario. WSIB states that it is consolidating functions, with the union countering that in-person service for injured workers will suffer. WSIB provides wage-loss benefits, medical coverage and support to help people return to the job after a workplace injury or illness.
