Marine – Strong wind warning in effect.Wind north 30 knots diminishing to north 20 early this morning and to north 15 near noon. Wind diminishing to northeast 10 early this evening then veering to southeast 10 near midnight. Wind increasing to southeast 15 Thursday morning and to northeast 25 Thursday evening. Waves 2 to 3 metres subsiding to one this morning and to one half metre this evening. Waves building to one near noon Thursday and to one and one half metres Thursday evening.

News Tidbits – With the weather conditions, organizers of today’s Flash Mob have moved it indoors. It will be held indoors at the MHS Auditorium. You are asked to enter by the side entrance.

Many have been wondering about their purchases of Sears products and warranties. Sears Hometown Store in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan has announced that they have access to many of the parts and accessories, as well as a full selection of new appliances, tools, lawn and garden products as well. No word on honouring any warranties, but at least this can offer help with parts and/or accessories if needed.
