Wawa-news.com You can't hear the 'big picture'!
On March 8, 2022 at approximately 12:08 p.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a suspicious person call on Broadway Avenue in Wawa.
Police located the individual and, as a result of the investigation, Angie NESHAWABIN, 39 years-of-age, of Brunswick House First Nation was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on April 4, 2022 in Wawa.
Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) provides policing services to Wawa, Chapleau, White River, Hornepayne and Dubreuiville.
