OPP Investigate Collision west of Ignace

On July 15, 2017 at approximately 2:00pm CT officers from the Ignace Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision involving a westbound environmental waste collection truck and an eastbound pick up truck on Highway 17 approximately 20 km west of Ignace.

The Ontario Provincial Police are currently on scene investigating the collision and Highway 17 will remain closed until the investigation is complete. Detours are available via Hwy 11 at Shabaqua for westbound traffic and traffic is also being routed via Hwy 622.
