Provincial Constable Peter Bertin of the Marathon OPP was honoured with an Accolade Award at a special presentation ceremony at the Ontario Provincial Police General Headquarters in Orillia, ON. These prestigious awards are only given out once a year. Bertin was recognized under the “Dedication” category for his continued support of the Marathon Community Policing Program.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) provide policing services throughout Ontario. Our officers are responsible for policing over one million square kilometres of land and waterways. They provide frontline policing services to more than 320 Ontario municipalities and patrol over 126,000 kilometres of provincial roadways.
