Born December 31, 1962, in Wawa Ontario.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Sal on July 12, 2018. Son of Teresa (Nee Naro) and the late Giovanni. Dearly beloved brother of Diego (Pina), Roberto (Rebecca), Eduardo (Patty) and Jimmy (Jennifer). Proud uncle to Jonathan, Michael (Jenna), Christopher, Chelsea, Haylee, Joshua and Charlie. Dear nephew of Vincenza Lauricella (late Vincenzo) of Wawa and Rosario Naro (Anna) of Toronto. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Sicilia, Italy. He has left a huge void in the Rody, Rainville, Naro and Lauricella families (where we recently celebrated Zia Enza’s 90th Birthday). Sal will be dearly missed by many close friends, including those he grew up with in Wawa, as well as many co-workers and friends in the Highway and Municipal Construction industry.
Aside from enjoying baseball (in the early years) and golf, Salvatore dedicated a great deal of time to his career in Contract Administration. He touched the lives of many as he travelled extensively through vast Northern Ontario landscapes.
The entire family would like to express their deep gratitude to Constable Steven Potter, Dr. Quon and EMS Paramedics.
Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel, Sault Ste. Marie on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm. Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 3:00 pm. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

My condolences to the Lauricella families & extended families.
Wow! Great sorrow, much laughter when we were kids playing around the block near Wawa creek
Still shocked and in disbelief. So many wonderful memories of us growing up together as neighbours in Wawa. You will sadly missed my friend, gone to soon. RIP Sal.
Love, Ausilia
