Municipality of Wawa Infrastructure Services REMINDER

 

The Municipality has restrictions on curb side garbage pickup. The limit of waste per week, per household pickup is 6 receptacles not exceeding 12 cubic feet i.e. 6 regular sized garbage bags.

 

The contents must be bagged and only household waste i.e. food scraps, paper, plastic, cans, etc.

 

Please ensure during winter months that curbside garbage receptacles are brought out in the morning of scheduled collection day in your residential area to avoid interference with snow removal operations during the night and allow a clear path for garbage collection operator to access your garbage receptacles.

 

The Municipal Landfill operates Tues – Fri 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. & Saturday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. for all other items to be deposited, excluding hazardous waste.
