One new wildland fire was confirmed in the Northeast Region today:
- Sudbury 53 (SUD053) is 1.2 hectare and located approximately 1.7 kilometres east of Highway 69, and 3 kilometres south of Dodd Lake. The fire is being held.
There are currently 44 active wildland fires in the Northeast Region. Of these fires: 1 is not under control, 2 are being held, 3 are under control and 38 are being observed.
