Algoma Public Health (APH) has reported that there are twenty-nine (29) new cases of COVID-19in the Algoma District. All cases are from Sault Ste. Marie and area. Seventeen (17) are close contacts of confirmed cases, three (3) have an unknown source of infection and nine (9) are still being investigated to determine their source of infection. There are 378 cases, and nine (9) in hospital.
Algoma Public Health states, “It is with great sadness that today we are reporting the region’s 16th death related to COVID-19. Out of respect for the family, no further information is being shared.”
