2020 Wawa Salmon Derby is a Go!

The 38th Annual Wawa Salmon Derby is a go! This year’s Derby will be held August 21st – 23rd. There are some changes this year though.

This year is a Salmon Derby only, monetary prizes will be awarded for the top ten salmon caught only – no lake trout. The Grand Prize for the largest salmon caught is $3,000. As well, this year’s derby will not have the Saturday Night Fish Fry or the Sunday Roast Beef Fisherman’s Dinner. The popular 5-day Pre-Fishing Contest will precede the derby, from August 15 – 19.
