Ron Rody Acclaimed Mayor for next term

Ron Rody has been acclaimed Mayor of Wawa for the next term of municipal council.

According to the list of certified candidates released at 13:51 today, the following are vying for a seat as councillor of Wawa.

James Brown, Cathy Cannon, Mitch Hatfield, Robert Reece are the new candidates. They are joined by Bill Chiasson, Pat Tait and Sandra Weitzel who are already councillors.

Councillor Julia Rowe is not on the list of certified candidates.

Running for a seat on the English Public – Algoma District School Board is Joe Buckell and Russell Reid (incumbent).
