Over ten years ago, the Sault Area Hospital (SAH) installed two CT Scanners in their Diagnostic Imaging Department. In early 2015, it was known that one would have to be replaced.
Yesterday, with successful fundraising, it was announced that a new CT Scanner will be installed later this year. The SAH performs over 20,000 CT scans, providing information to help diagnose health problems for local and Algoma District patients.
