News Tidbits: In the United States, General Motors has been accused of installing devices similar to ones used by Volkswagen to pass emissions tests on their Silverado and Sierra diesel trucks with Duramax engines from the 2011 to 2016 model years. Hagens Berman has filed the class action suite on behalf of 705,000 US owners or leasors. There hasn’t been any word yet on Canadian owners.
