November 20, 1924 – June 22, 2000

After a long illness, peacefully in his sleep, in hospital Pembroke in his 76th year. Rev. James Francis Cashubec of Chalk River. Beloved son of Agnes Cashubec (nee Belanger) and the late Frank Cashubec of Pembroke. Dear brother of Theresa (the late George) Beaulieu of Pembroke, Helena (Claude) Morel of Deep River, Alice (Jim) McBride of Port Elgin, Joan (Ken) Stashick of London, Bernard (Liz) Cashubec of Val Caron and Leo (Betty) of Manitoulin Island. Also survived by 30 nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke on Saturday, June 24th, 2000 at 10:30 a.m.

Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
