With much sadness for Snowbird fans, today not only ends this year’s season of performances, but also marks the last performance of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds in Moose Jaw, with their legendary CT-114 Tutor jets that have danced in Canada’s skies for 55 years.
The Snowbird pilots and their support team have brought awe to many, and inspired many to become pilots. Their flying of the Tutor at speeds nearing 800 km/h with some formations mere 2 metres apart have been stunning to watch.
They are offering a livestream of their final performance so you can tune in from home to enjoy this historic flight, the livestream kicks off at 2:00 p.m. EDT (12:00 Noon local time in Moose Jaw).

While today’s hometown farewell is filled with emotion, the Snowbirds’ final scheduled flyby will take place at the Grey Cup in Calgary on November 15th, 2026.
The Canadian Armed Forces plans to transition to the Pilatus PC-21 (designated as the CT-157 Syscans 2), with the team expected to return to airshows around 2030.
