Update: full nursing staffing now in place

We are experiencing a staffing shortage in our nursing group for the Emergency Department (ED) today October 12, 2026.The Emergency Department is open; however, we ask that you visit the ED only if you have an emergency. Based on patient prioritization you may experience longer wait times.
If you are unsure whether you have an emergency, seek health-related advice by calling Health Connect Ontario (24/7) at 811.
