SHOREY, Bryan Ford Gaston

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of Bryan Ford Gaston Shorey at Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday September 8, 2026, at the age of 28.

Bryan grew up in Wawa and loved working on small engines, hunting, and especially fishing. Somehow, he would figure out how to build at least one boat motor out of five just to get out on the water and drop a line. That was his happy place. And of course, he always had his beloved dogs with him on his many outdoor adventures.

He is survived by his parents Michael Shorey (Rae-Ellen), Christine Shorey (Dave), sister Brook Shorey (Cody), nephew Ryles Stadey, grandparents Gaston and Diane Gratton, Uncle Gilbert Gratton (Diane), and by loving aunts, cousins and friends.

Bryan will be remembered for his true self of a loving, caring, intelligent person with a big smile, and the good times we shared filled with love, laughter, and happiness.

Rest in Peace Bryan, you will forever be deeply loved, missed, and never forgotten.

Cremation will take place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
