Wawa was without a Goose for a little over a day. By yesterday afternoon (July 27, 2017) the new Goose as created by Research Casting had been installed.
The process to install the new Goose was much longer than the removal. After preparing the base, the body sans wings and neck was placed. The left wing was installed next, and then the right. Finally the neck and head was attached, wrapped in a protective covering to avoid marring the paint during the lift.
The Goose will be unveiled in a ceremony July 1st.
