Busy… Busy… Busy…BUSY!

That is what the Foundation is since we have a new full time coordinator, Alisha Allin.

Alisha joined the foundation in mid- August. She brings a vast amount of fundraising, marketing and business experience with her. She is very eager to work with the Board to enhance and grow the foundation.

The next six weeks are full of activities and events, beginning with our second Get’er Dunn Trivia night, which takes place on Friday, September 22 at 6:30 pm in the Legion Club room. This event is in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 429 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 429 and sponsored by Superior Weld All. There is still room to register your team and join in on the fun. It is $50 per team of four. You and your team could win $500!

The next event that the Foundation is presenting, will be a Charity “High Tea” sponsored by Alamos Gold Inc. on Sunday, October 1st. This event will take place from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at 59 Broadway Ave and catered by Judy Page Moore. This is your chance to dress up and wear your finest or silliest hat while you sip heavenly brews and nibble tantalizing tidbits. It will truly be a feast for the eyes and palate. Seating has been limited to 40 attendees only; advance sales only. There are prizes for the best-dressed, best hat and a door prize. Get your tickets early by
contacting the foundation at 705-856-2335 ext 3147 or email at [email protected].
