  • Those who missed grabbing Swiss Chalet as they come back from the Soo will be happy to hear that the restaurant is reopening the spring
  • Searchmont Ski Resort will receibe $1,730,329 in Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) funding, which will be used for a triple chairlift, and to build a pond and pump house and ski patrol building
  • Marathon will receive $450,000 for the development of the Pebble Beach tourist area.The viewing section will be upgraded, seasonal washrooms and updated parking, lighting and signage.
