At 2:07 p.m. today, Environment Canada issued a Freezing rain warning for:
- Wawa – Pukaskwa Park
- White River – Dubreuilville
- Marathon – Schreiber
- Nipigon – Rossport
Freezing rain associated with a warm front is expected to develop early Wednesday morning and may mix with ice pellets at times. The freezing rain is expected to end Wednesday near noon before transitioning to showers.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
This warning affects other areas to the northwest of Wawa. Please check the Environment Canada website for more information.
