On February 2, 2022, at approximately 3:50 p.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Monk Street in Chapleau. Officers attended and determined that one of the individuals was breaching their court ordered conditions.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old person, from Chapleau, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in March 2022, in Chapleau.
