As part of science, social studies, and religion classes, grade 4 and 5 students at École Saint-Joseph (Wawa) are studying the importance of taking care of the environment, their community and their school. With the help of grade 5 teacher Ms. Sabrina Lévesque and grade 4 teacher Mr. Éric Comtois, the students decided to take action to demonstrate the importance of making good choices. With a healthy supply of huge garbage bags, good gloves, determination and enthusiasm, the students cleaned up Wawa’s Queen’s Park as well as the École Saint-Joseph schoolyard! Well done students! Good work!
