At 3:55 Environment Canada explained that the fog patches have currently lifted, but are likely to return this evening and continue into Sunday morning.
Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.

At 11:36, Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for the area from Wawa to Pukaskwa Park. Motorists should be aware that near zero visibility is expected in come location of fog patches near Lake Superior. There have been fog patches reported on Highway 17/Hwy 519 area.
