“Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day”

October 18, 2022 is “Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day”.

Years of research confirms the benefits of high-quality early learning and child care for young children’s intellectual, emotional, social and physical development and later life outcomes.

Licensed child care and EarlyON programs promote the well-being of children and responds to the needs of families and the broader community by supporting quality of life so that citizens can fully participate in and contribute to the economic and social life of their community.

Trained and knowledgeable Registered Early Childhood Educators and child care staff are the key to quality in early learning and child care programs, and are vital to the success of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care system.

On October 18, 2022 in recognition of their education, dedication and commitment to children, their families and quality of life of the community, join the Algoma District Services Administration Board in celebrating Early Childhood Educators and child care workers in Wawa, White River, Dubreuilville, Hornepayne, and across the Algoma District!
