Rotary Club continues Good Work for Wawa

The Rotary Club of Wawa continues to meet and do good work for the community of Wawa. Last week two donations were made to two community organizations.

The first donation was to the Wawa Community Food Bank,  Volunteers Margaret Chapman and Jackie Blanchette received the check from Rotarian Russell Reid. This donation will allow the Wawa Community Food Bank to  install a dedicated phone line in order to provide better service to their clients.

The second donation was made to Lina Rody, Chair of the Lady Dunn Health Centre Foundation. The cheque for $6,000 will be used to help buy equipment for the Lady Dunn Health Centre.

The Rotary Club of Wawa continues to meet weekly at 7 p.m. using Zoom.
