Doug Ford is on a mission to protect the taxpayer

Doug Ford has been doing an excellent job cleaning up Ontario after 15 years of disastrous Liberal rule.
Lets start with the cancellation of the Green Energy Act , as we paid 37 billion dollars more for our hydro between 2006 – 2014 in global adjustment fees and by 2032 an additional 133 billion dollars more will paid out in global adjustment fees according to a report Dec 2 2015 by the Auditor General.
If the Liberal’s had won this election and continued on there vision of producing Green Energy at any cost what would of been the real cost by 2032 we will never know all we know is our new Premier is saving us from additional outrageous Global Adjustment Fees than the auditor projected.  Also taxpayers are no longer funding upto 13 thousand dollars in rebates for the rich to buy electric cars or people to get rebates to purchase new windows and do home improvements as most low- middle income earners could not afford to do renovations so once again this program benefited the rich.
Next up is the cancellation of the carbon tax scam that the Wynne Liberal’s forced on us and now by Prime Minister Trudeau which will be challenged in court.
When Pot becomes legal it will be sold by the private sector saving taxpayers a lot of money by not paying union wages and benefits or fear of union workers going on strike while disrupting the product from the people who buy it and then look at the millions of dollars it saves by not having to purchase land and built new stores.
Doug has hired EY Canada to do an audit and they are going through line by line of Liberal spending to see if we got value for our money spent and money borrowed and what is Ontario’s real debt this should be bad news for the Liberals when this audit comes out.
Doug has gotten our doctors back to the negotiating table something the Wynne Liberal’s were unable to do and put an end to the strike at York University and cancelled Wynne updated sex educational program to get further input by parents and also put end to all non essential government spending and froze public  sector executives salaries to enquire how they are granted.
The Conservative’s will be very busy this fall and the next 4 years cleaning up Mcguinty and Wynne’s mess.

  1. The editorial is so short sighted and one sided I’m wondering if your readers even take it seriously, regardless of who they vote for.

News for the author on green energy and renewables buddy – this is an industry that is now booming and it is going nowhere, it is growing and other provinces and countries are getting a head start. The easy thing to do is pretend it is not there, keep up an old antiquated system but it is doing Ontario residents a disservice and it is disingenuous to say that spending money on infrastructure that isn’t going away is a waste.

Sex education written in the 90s when the internet wasn’t on everybody’s phone makes a whole lot of sense. Now you have kids exposed to sex as soon as they get one and potential predators. But sure, stick your head in a horses behind and pretend we live in 1991.

    • I remember living in Wawa 1960-64 and the yellow cloud of sulphur that wafted over town created by the sinter plant. Sometimes the cloud was so heavy the sun would appear duller. The was no abatement then only to make the smokestack higher. In a one industry town this was the norm. The present citizens of this country should be thankful of government foresight in remedial plans to abate environmental catastrophe in the form of a carbon tax. The revenue used for infrastructure. The Ford administration fails to understand the importance of clean air and water and the economy is symbiotic to the health of Ontario and the rest of Canada.

  2. This is not an editorial. It is a media release put out by Ford’s puppets and paid for by the taxpayers. He has set up his own reporters and editorialists. It is pure propranganda with no substance to the claims being made. Maybe EY Canada should keep an eye on Ford and his governments spending at the same time they are reviewing Wynne’s mess.

    • You are so wrong google my name yo will see hundreds of anti liberal letters I wrote before our great leader -premier Ford took office . FOUR MORE YEARS will be the chant come next election

  3. Sorry Ross. I didn’t see your name at the bottom of the editorial. Nevertheless, it reads like some of Ford’s press releases. I wasn’t happy with the Liberals but I don’t see any real long term plans from Ford. Really, going back to sex ed as it was taught in the 90’s is a disservice to the youth of today. How many are going to benefit by a buck a beer which really isn’t an accurate representation of the change. Cancelling a pilot project that guaranteed poorer families a minimum income before the outcomes could be assessed…sounds pretty callous toward those most in need. And what about the lower income earner who was going to replace windows banking on the rebate promised by the province and now can’t afford to pay for them. Do you really think the minimum wage is too high and should be frozen? I hope you are right about the next election chant. Time will tell.
