Weather – Mainly cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries this morning. A few flurries beginning near noon. Local amount 2 cm. Wind becoming west 20 km/h late this morning. High zero. Tonight – Flurries. Local amount 2 cm. Wind west 20 km/h becoming light this evening. Low minus 9.

Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for this afternoon, evening and overnight – Brief but intense snowfall could affect road conditions and visibilities today into Tuesday morning. Travel conditions are expected to be the most difficult this evening and overnight.

 

Marine – Strong wind warning in effect.Wind northwest 25 knots diminishing to northwest 15 this morning then increasing to west 25 this afternoon. Wind veering to northwest 20 overnight then diminishing to northwest 15 Tuesday morning. Wind increasing to southwest 20 Tuesday evening. Waves one and one half to 2 metres.
