The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking help from the public in identifying the person(s) responsible for shooting and abandoning two moose southwest of Manitouwadge. On October 29th, information was received by Conservation Officers about two bull moose that had been shot and abandoned near Fourbay Lake on Runnalls Lake Road, off of Barehead Lake Road. The two carcasses were located about 50 metres from the roadway and about 60 metres apart. It is believed that the animals were shot at the same time, and then left to spoil.
If you have any information, please call the MNRF TIPS line at 1-877-847-7667 toll-free or call Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
