SE OPP Wawa charge woman in altercation

On Tuesday August 8, 2017 at approximately 6:52 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from the Superior East Wawa Detachment responded to an altercation that had taken place between a male and a female.

As a result of the investigation, a 28 year old Wawa, Ontario woman was arrested and charged with the following offences:

1. Adult Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle Cause Bodily Harm contrary to section 249(3) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
2. Adult Driving While Under Suspension contrary to section 53 of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa, Ontario on September 11, 2017.
