At the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Wawa, on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Dave, at the age of 68 years, beloved husband of Kaija “Kay“, loving father of Russell (Darlene) and Gordon (Isabel) all of Wawa. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Larissa, Abiguel and Eloise. Dave was predeceased by his parents Fred and Victoria Jones, late of Hawk Junction. Dear brother of Leona Smith (the late William), Frances Smith (Bud), William (Brandy), Dorothy Tomas (the late Fern) and the late Emma Oliver (the late Dick ), Helen Varcoe, Fred Jones Jr., Charles Jones (Joan) and Robert Jones. He is survived by his many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Monica’s Church on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Lady Dunn Health Centre, P.O. Box 179 Wawa Ontario P0S 1K0 or the S.A.H. Cancer Care Centre C/O Sault Area Hospital Foundation, 969 Queen St. E. Sault Ste. Marie Ontario P6A 2C4 would be appreciated by the family.
