One new fire was confirmed in the Northwest Region by the evening hours of Sept. 27.
- Thunder Bay 90 (THU 090) was located west of Ware Rd., approximately 21 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay. The fire has since been called out at a size of 0.1 hectares.
At the time of this update there are 27 active fires in the Northwest Region. Among these fires, 9 are under control and 18 fires are being observed.
