Hwy 17 (Old Woman Bay South) Traffic Delays UPDATED

A driver going past this area has updated that the transport is no longer there.

Motorists travelling south of Wawa should exercise caution in the Old Woman Bay area. An eastbound transport is in the ditch just past the end of the guardrails on the Old Woman Bay Hill, resting against a pickup. The hood of the transport is crumpled, but circumstances of the collision are unknown.

Wawa Fire, EMS and OPP are currently on scene, and although the highway remains open, the highway or southbound lane will probably be closed to remove the transport and pickup.
