Yesterday evening just about sunset, a transport tractor towing a float drove through the Upper Mission. Unfortunately, it caught and snapped the hydro line between two houses on Queen Street. One house didn’t lose power, despite the mast being severely bent. The other residence did lose power, and quick action by Algoma Power got them hooked back up. The OPP did locate the vehicle that broke the power line.
