Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Wawa – Pukaskwa Park
- White River – Dubreuilville
- Agawa – Lake Superior Park
- Chapleau – Missinaibi Lake
Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
Significant early season snowfall continuing into tonight.
A low pressure area over Upper Michigan will track across Northeastern Ontario tonight.
Snow will continue tonight. Latest indications and weather radar show that the heaviest snow will fall this evening.
Total snowfall amounts of 15 to locally 20 cm are expected by Saturday morning.
Motorists should allow for extra time to reach their destination. Winter driving conditions have returned.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.
