Snowfall amounts near 15 cm are possible by Saturday morning. Roads may become slippery due to accumulating snow. Motorists should be prepared for Winter driving conditions. Snow is expected to begin late tonight and taper off Saturday morning. This wintery weather is attributed to an area of low pressure that is forecast to track into Wisconsin on Friday.

Marine – Strong wind warning in effect. Wind southeast 10 knots increasing to southeast 15 this morning and to east 20 this afternoon. Wind backing to northeast 25 this evening then increasing to northeast 30 overnight. Wind northeast 30 Friday. Waves one half metre or less building to one near noon and to one and one half metres early this evening. Waves building to 2 to 3 near midnight.
