On March 11th, the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra musicians will return to in-person concerts. Tickets are currently available on their website.
TBSO’s Hilldale Concert Series will continue, starting with Schubert & Farrenc, featuring guest conductor Evan Mitchell, a brilliant and profound piece by William Grant Still, and timeless Symphonies by both Schubert and Farrenc.
The remainder of the Season 60 concerts will also feature impressive solos by some of their own wildly talented Symphony members. To keep the safety of their musicians, staff, and patrons front of mind, capacity will be limited for the Hilldale Concert Series performances.
While there’s no doubt that the best way to experience the magnitude of the TBSO is through live, in-person performances, they cannot ignore the opportunity of streaming online. The TBSO is releasing a Digital Subscription for those who enjoy listening to the mastery from the comfort of their own home or who reside all over the globe. Details can be found at TBSO.ca
The TBSO is looking forward to not only returning to Hilldale Lutheran Church but is also thrilled to be returning to the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium for a special Pops concert featuring guest artist Steven Page on April 30th. While showtimes are released and tickets are sold, the TBSO continues to be vigilant in adhering to public safety guidelines. In the best interest of the audience, musicians, staff, and volunteers,
programs and showtimes are subject to change.
