STONE, Gilbert Joseph “Great White Eagle”

Passed away at the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Wawa, on Monday, June 2, 2003 at the age of 61 years. Gilbert, beloved husband of Sandra, dear father of Sharon (Pete), Lori (Leo), Sherry (Israel), Karen, Melanie (Warren), Gilbert Jr., and Leon (Samantha). Son of the late Moses and Marie Stone.

Gilbert is survived by his brothers Don Stone (Donna), and Samuel Stone Sr. (Angela); his sisters Irene Piche (Wilfred) and Judy Lewis (Jim McLaughlin), and is predeceased by his brother Francis Stone (Agnes). Gilbert will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Star, Kyle, Aaron, James, Randy, Xavier, Brandon, Tiffany, Jessica, Clint, Nicholas, Curtis, Shamira, Nodin and Felicia. Gilbert is predeceased by his granddaughter Felicity.

Friends may call at the Michipicoten First Nation Community Hall from Tuesday, June 3, 2003. A funeral service will be held at the Hall on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m.
