BERTIN, Pamela Cornelia

Peacefully passed away with her loving family by her side at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Friday, May 1, 2015, at the age of 69. Daughter of Annie and the late Patrick. Beloved wife of the late Paul Bernard Bertin for 30 years. Loving mother of Vincent (Ingrid), Tammy, Sherry (Sheldon), and Tony (Nichola). Grandmother of James, Kayla, Bobby, Jamie-Lynn, Winner, Victoria, and special grandmother of Laird and Rowan. Great grandmother of Liam, Owen, and Sophia. Pamela was one of eight sisters and eight brothers. She was predeceased by her twin brothers George and Nate and sister Julia McGuire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Our mom was a lover of life. She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandbabies with everything in her. She was the bestest cook in the world (she could make bannock like nobody’s business). Our mother also loved to knit and crochet and was amazing at it. She made us enough hats that they could wrap around the world. She had the most infectious laugh and smile and she was just the bestest mother ever. Mom’s faith in God was super strong and it helped her through when the cancer hit. It was an honor to have her as our mother, our friend, our therapist, personal chef, our everything. We are going to miss her but she will always be around us. Love from all your babies.

Special thank you to the nursing team of the Lady Dunn Health Centre because you went way above and beyond the care of our mother and especially Dr. Oberai.

Friends may visit with the family at the P.M. Gilmartin Funeral Home, 140 Churchill Avenue,  Wawa on Monday, May 4, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Memorial donations can be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lady Dunn Health Centre.
