Freezing rain warning in effect for:
- White River – Dubreuilville
A period of freezing rain this evening into tonight.
After a mild day today and showers, freezing rain is forecast to develop late this afternoon or early this evening as temperatures fall. The freezing rain could last for several hours and 5 to 10 mm of ice accretion will be possible by the time the freezing rain transitions to ice pellets tonight and then snow by Thursday morning.
Local power outages will be possible and some untreated roads may become icy and slippery tonight.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
