Picture of the Day – Crescent Moon & Venus

This morning if you looked to the southeast just before sunrise, you could see the crescent Moon and Venus converging for a beautiful conjunction — little more than 1o apart. I was up too late to see that Jupiter and the red giant star Antares were nearby.
