Hwy 17 – Minor Traffic Delays 24km North of Wawa

A van has hit a moose then landed next to a rockcut, 24km north of Wawa. OPP and EMS are currently on scene with the southbound lane closed. The OPP are currently providing traffic control.

There is no further information at this time, but the moose and van will have to be removed before the lane can be reopened.

Please drive with care in that area, and please watch for moose… they are everywhere.
